Our story: from Guatemala to your table

La Abuelita started the way most good things do — around a kitchen table. Our grandmother baked pan dulce and magdalenas for every birthday, baptism and Sunday visit in Guatemala.

When our family settled here, those recipes came with us. Friends began asking for cakes for their parties, then their friends did too.

Family-owned, baked from home

Today we are still a family bakery, baking from home in small batches. Every cake, cupcake and centerpiece is made by our hands — never a factory.
